How long have you been a photographer?
Around 15 years, 10+ years professionally
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm Upstate NY, Adirondacks based, and yes I love to travel! I spent the last 9 years in Colorado and frequently go back and always LOVE to work in the beautiful Rockies!
My passport is ready, gas is in tank, google maps and bags packed! I love to travel anywhere for my couples. It can be for weddings, elopements, anniversaries, or just to update your walls with some fun new anniversary photos! All destinations may differ in cost please contact me for any questions.
How many pictures will we receive?
I typically photography 50-75 images per hour, I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Yes! I always block off your day no matter how much time you have booked with me. From elopements to large weddings. I always allow you to add on hours if you need to.
Are you insured?
YES! I am a fully insured business. If your venue needs a copy please let me know, they will be requesting a COI
How do we pay?
I require a deposit upon return of signed contract. With full payment of remaining balance due 15 days prior to wedding date. All contracts are sent via email through signnow. Once contract is signed deposit can be paid through Vemno @dawn-honsky, Zelle dawnhonskyphotography@gmail.com, or paypal (only as friend/family)
How do you photograph weddings & Elopements?
I love to help you customize your wedding or elopement day. This is so that you know how and when everything is going to flow and have no stress!
I'll send you a guide to help you organizing your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lighting and times...
On your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the in-between details that make your day unique. That's why I decided to photograph non-traditional and laid-back weddings.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with a previews within 24hrs of your shoot/elopement/wedding. Your completed gallery of photos within 8-12 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
Do you have a second shooter?
My 8 hour packages always include a second photographer but any package can have one added on.
What kind of gear do you use and edit with?
I am a Cannon girl! I shoot with two full frame camera as well as have my cannon film camera.
I have a variety of lenses to photograph with I am mainly a prime lens shooter. I have a 85mm, 35mm & 50mm. I also have a 70-200mm lens & 24-70.
I edit everything by hand. I work off an I Mac and Macbook (when traveling) My editing work is through adobe photoshop and bridge.
